The Grid Edge Solutions team develops and deploys innovative programs and technologies that enable customers to integrate distributed energy resources, optimize their energy consumption, reduce energy costs, and contribute flexibility back to the grid. As energy systems become more decentralized, customers are evolving from passive consumers into active partners in grid modernization.
These initiatives deliver measurable results such as delaying costly infrastructure upgrades, lowering peak demand, improving reliability, and accelerating the adoption of cleaner energy while creating value for participants and the communities that we serve.

Empowering Informed Electric Vehicle Decisions
Alectra’s eMobility Awareness Portal provides customers with the insights needed to make confident decisions about electric vehicles, charging options, and electricity rate plans. The interactive tools on the website enable users to compare EV models, estimate costs and the environmental impact of switching to electric. It also helps customers to become informed about what they need to know about installing an EV charger in their home.
Using its integrated EV Calculator, customers can evaluate different EV options for charging times, electricity costs and their environmental footprint. The Public Charging Map helps users identify charging stations to support trip planning. By delivering transparent, data-driven tools, the Alectra eMobility platform supports customers in navigating the transition to electric mobility efficiently and confidently.
