Alectra completes private placement offering of $300 million aggregate principal amount of 1.751% series 2021-1 senior unsecured debentures due 2031

Mississauga, Ontario – Alectra Inc. (“Alectra” or the “Corporation”) announced today that it has closed its private placement offering of C$300 million aggregate principal amount of 1.751% Series 2021-1 senior unsecured debentures (the "Series 2021-1 Debentures") due February 11, 2031. The net proceeds of the offering will be used to repay indebtedness and for general corporate purposes.

The Series 2021-1 Debentures were offered in each of the provinces of Canada on a private placement basis through a syndicate of agents that was co-led by RBC Dominion Securities Inc. and CIBC World Markets Inc.

No securities regulatory authority has either approved or disapproved of the contents of this news release. The Series 2021-1 Debentures have not been registered under the United States Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the “U.S. Securities Act”) or any state securities laws.
